Another Ghost

two people asked for ghosts and their requests were almost right next to eachother. thats crazy cause i've taken around 240 requests and there were no ghosts until now. i wonder if it was the same person using different email addresses. i don't really think so because no one would take advantage of me, right?

Planet Pittsburgh

i just submitted this digital painting to a contest. its for local food delivery place that brings food from restaurants to your door. The contest is to design their next menu cover and they're giving $500 worth of food delivery to whoever wins. i figured i'd appeal to the city's pride. the painting is titled "planet pittsburgh", but it think maybe "planetburgh" might be better. opinions anyone?

this is the third guitar i've painted. you can compare them with this convenient post. the first one i did was one of the first thirty i put in my gallery showing.

Ghost

this guy is on a grey background because that's what was requested. i don't usually spring for neutral colors but it looks good with this little guy.

Clef

i always liked the way these look. i think they may be even better in white.

Camera Two

i think i'm way too much of a puppet under corporate mind control because this reminds me of mickey mouse. all it takes is three black circles....or in this case, two black circles and a rectangle. i wonder if disney has the phrase "three black circles" copy written.

Brooklyn Landmark

i was asked to paint something that represents brooklyn. the bridge is all that i, and google images, could come up with.

A Brain

the guy that wanted this wrote an email that read, "i humbly request a brain." i don't know why i find that quite funny.

A Terrier of the Boston Variety

the people i stayed with when i went to san diego had a boston terrier. his name was ricky and he was really darn cute. they have strange eyes that kind of stick out of their heads but its still adorable.

Sandwich

this is not a blt. its a bacon sandwich. the guy that requested it loves bacon. i guess he loves it enough to put it on his wall.

the colors on this one make me want mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I Have Returned!

yay! i'm back. did you miss me? i've actually been back for over a week but i've been working furiously on my character design portfolio. i had a great time at the conference and i met lots of awesome people....and also some nerds...some nerds are awesome

i hope i didn't lose any viewers during my break. i'm back to the free paintings now so get ready for one a day. today's post isn't in the typical free painting style which would have been good because i'm just returning but oh well. its still free, i swear.




this guy asked for a picture of travis bickle from the movie taxi. the character didn't really lend itself to my normal style so i thought i'd try something more cinematic.

White Whale

this person asked for a whale of any variety accept killer. i guess willy is too mainstream.
