Why is pinball named "pinball"? There are no pins. Bowling should be named pinball! And the act of pouring cereal should be called "bowling". And cereal should be called "carb-y breakfast swimmers". What are we talking about, again?

This Is Where I Write the Wrong Title

The title of this post should be "BRB. Skipping 3 days of paintings while I watch 73 hours of Phineas and Ferb" because if I was a TRUE artist, I would thoroughly research what I was painting before I started. But instead of watching every episode of the show this guy is in, I did a quick Google and went for it. I'm sure the final result is lacking because of my negligence.

I Need to Quit Shopping in the Little Boys Section

This is Ness from the video game EarthBound. Minus the matching shoes, he and I basically have the same wardrobe.

With Headphones iPod. With iPod Headphones. iPod Headphones With. Headphones iPod With.

I couldn't decide whether to title this one "Headphones with iPod" or "iPod with Headphones". I had settled on the former but then I decided to see if the original request could inform me better. The email said the requester wanted "an iPod with studio style headphones". So there you go. The iPod is the star of this painting. The headphones, that actually take up more real estate, are the plus one.

Someone Should Have Told Me About Google Images

You guys should be impressed with this one because this painting is way bigger than an actual hummingbird so I clearly had to get all the details right and it's surprisingly hard to get a hummingbird to stay still enough for live modeling.

Hanging Up in the Savannah

This is for a girl named Khadia. Well, maybe it's for an elephant named Khadia. I have a hard time believing that an elephant could email me a request, though. I mean, look at those feet. How could she type? Oh wait, she could push one letter at a time with her trunk. Ok yeah, this painting is probably for an elephant.

Nope, Sorry. Theirs Are Blue, White and Red.

This painting is far too 'Murica for me to use black. These colors don't run. I think it's funny that people say that about red, white and blue for America while France has the stereotype of surrendering and they have the same freakin' colors.

The statue in front there is George Washington leaning on a cane. Also the cane is broken. But I'm sure you could tell all that.

No, I Didn't Switch to Painting with My Left Foot

Since launching my Patreon, I've become friends with the people that work there. One of the employees, Taryn, does a livestream show with the company. On a recent episode they played Pictionary and she had to draw a unicorn while viewers guessed what she was depicting. I very much made fun of her about the results [see below] and then she very much got the last laugh because she requested a painting recreation of her drawing and now this mess can be considered a representation of my work.

No less that two of my friends came over while I was working on this painting. No less that two of my friends said "What a cute sheep!" Well, this is a Bedlington Terrier. I'm not blaming my art skills for this error. These dogs look like bad drawings of sheep in real life.

I like how the three bubbles get smaller as they go up. Technically, they would get bigger if each has the same volume of air because the higher the float up, the less water pressure surrounds them and so they would expand. But I like to think that they get far enough in the distance as they go up that you're actually seeing them in perspective so they look smaller even though they're getting bigger. Sorry to science you when you usually come here to get arted.

Just Differently Abled

this is for a friend of mine that works in the startup word. he says it's a metaphor for how he feels special and stunted at the same time. like, "oh my goodness it's a unicorn! look how majesti... ew he's broken."
