this is my rendition of New Order's album cover for their album, "Technique". i didn't listen to the music before painting this. that's kind of crappy but not as crappy as if i was the original designer.  i guess if i ever illustrate a book or whatever, i'll make sure i read it first.

this request was for something in the style of joan miró. he was a famous spanish painter. i'm a painter who's last name means "spanish" in italian and i'm on the internet. we're basically the same person.

Bunny Rabbit. Or Rabbit Bunny?

i've painted seven bunnies (by themselves. this stat doesn't include bunnies with other things.) this is my first rabbit. after a googling, i found out that bunnies and rabbits are the same thing. so my filenames are not sensical. except that i called him a rabbit because he's the first one i've painted from a photograph. so there you go, english. change your definitions.

Turns Out I'm More Lazy Than Angry

this is the cover of a Rage Against the Machine album. sort of. check out the original below. i painted the grey background first. then when i went to paint the black outline, i accidentally had the canvas turned incorrectly. if you look closely, you'll see mine matches the original much better if the background is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. it's pretty subtle but not to me. i was so mad when i realized immediately after finishing. but not mad enough to throw it out and start over. still, every time i look at it i get angry at myself. i'm hoping venting about it on my blog will help. i'm also hoping that the guy that got the painting doesn't read this. sorry i sent you screwed up art.
