Name Dropping Internet Celebs

this is Strawburry17's logo. she's a YouTuber! it was just her birthday and this was my gift to her. now that i think about it, is it conceited to have art of your own branding? i mean, i'd hang my own stuff. but i'm also an internet person which inherently means i'm conceited.

Free Vector Becomes Free Painting

this is based on a free stock vector graphic that someone liked and sent me. so yeah. that's where my artistic vision is right now.

Evolved for Sanitation

this is my last painting until next week because i'm traveling again! Vidcon! but also, i'm running low on canvases. my usual 100-piece bulk shipment is STILL on backorder. i'll be back next week and hopefully by that time i'll have the supplies i need.

little known fact: all turtles are germaphobes. their shells are for storing hygiene and cleaning products.

Free Paintings, Funky Proportions

above is what he looks like in Free Painting world. below is what he looks like in photography world. i imagine in our world he looks significantly more dimensional.

I Heard Painting Is Difficult in a Car

i forgot to mention this yesterday so it gets a separate post today. i'm going on a road trip this weekend with my new band! YAY BONDING! so i won't be painting until next week. until then, please enjoy my latest music video :) funded by my new Patreon!!

for the fan who enjoys cheering about pittsburgh in general as opposed to picking one specific activity.

The Prehensile Tails Come in Handy Playing Instruments

i always think the plural of monkey is monkies but it's monkees but only if they're a band.

Subtle Game Art

this is from the video game, "Bioshock". there's an enemy called Handyman and you can see his heart through a porthole in his chest. i like that this isn't immediately recognizable to everyone as a game reference. just a porthole to a heart is a pretty cool painting concept on it's own.

Some Serious Cropping

this requester sent me a very passionate description of how much he likes the Alexander the Great mosaic and asked me to paint it. the original is huge and detailed and the guy clearly loves it. i couldn't do the whole thing justice so i painted what i felt i could represent adequately with my style. which turned out to be about 0.74% of it.

I Definitely Took a History Class

i heard that the L is silent. so i guess it's pronounced "incoln".

Could Be More Nerd Per Square Foot

harry potter holding a lightsaber. well, isn't this a mess of nerdiness. though it could be worse. he could be riding a Game of Thrones dragon and wearing a Dungeons & Dragons cloak of resistance.

Earth's Inhabitants Only Have Two Eyes Each? Weird

this request was for an alien planet. i should have painted earth and then told the requester, "according to aliens, this is an alien planet."

Never Sleep Again

this is the logo of a rapper named Tech N9ne. it looks like a snake with wings. can you imagine if flying snakes existed? you can unsubscribe from my blog now. sorry about the nightmares.

Catcher Signals to the Pitcher are Kind of Tricky

i really want to see elephants play baseball now. can you imagine pitching and catching and swinging bats with trunks? and a four-beast stampede after a grand slam!

It Might Be a Car

another elephant? yep. these last two paintings are actually a part of a commissioned series of three. tomorrow's painting will also have a trunk.

Patriotic Accident

i didn't purposefully do it but this guy ended up pretty darn red, white and blue. happy independence day!

Just a Bit Wonky

this was a tough one. 14 carts with 14 umbrellas all set on a circle in a severe perspective. it's definitely not perfect. i don't think i'd get on this ride.

warm colors and cool colors. opposites attract.

Really Sacrificing for My Art

this is my sixth tardis painting. they've all been 3/4 views. this is my first head on depiction. and also the first time i wrote out "POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX". i hope this requester appreciates me taking the extra step of rinsing the black out of my brush for the white on top.
